Feeling nervous?
Most patients tell me it’s more comfortable than they expected. We work under local anaesthetic, the procedure is usually about 30 minutes, and most people are back at work the same day or the next — with the same dentist from start to finish.
Thinking of going abroad?
Implants done in Turkey or abroad aren’t always something a UK clinic can continue or fix. Get a proper UK assessment first.
Choosing who places your implant?
A dentist can place implants after a weekend course. Ask them: weekend course, or a two-year diploma? Mine is the full Royal College of Surgeons diploma.
